Dalaplan ‎– Du Går Aldrig Ensam (LP White Vinyl) / Nomads

The fourth album by the band from Malmö, Sweden, founded in 2009. They still sing exclusively in Swedish and are adept at combining sweet, heartbreaker melodies with very pleasantly upbeat, laid-back punk rock, with a peculiar twist and honky-tonk. You have to hear it to believe it, and even the stiffest hips will inevitably start moving their butts.

Added to this is the lush instrumentation of the seven-piece band, featuring piano, organ, glockenspiel, double bass, baritone guitar, Moog, and various percussion instruments, and a general stylistic openness that. Dalaplan may be somewhat different from The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, but they're similarly intense and diverse as in "Du gav mig ingenting" with its male/female vocals. A hint of RADIO BIRDMAN appears repeatedly here and singer and guitarist Niklas Svenson, who is solely responsible for all the music and lyrics, truly seems to have tremendous talent.
