Rose ‎– Livin' It (CD Signed)

Rose already had a beautifully fluent voice and over the years a beautiful, lived-in foundation has developed beneath it. With the exception of John Lennon's Jealous Girl, most of the songs are his own and those of partner, keyboardist and producer Sven Figee, Sandra St. Victor and Antoon Tolsma. The latter has also provided part of the production as Dutchflower, sometimes together with Sven or Roland Dirkse, and it is impressively close and strong. A jazzy and soulful funk sound has been chosen, full of screeching Fender Rhodes and organs, rich percussion and deep bass. A perfect match for Rose. Especially on the calmer material, it leaves plenty of room for her to shine. Give the songs some time and most of them will grow significantly in terms of content.
