Junkyard Dogs ‎– Snakehat CD

"Blues with a bite" is what they call it themselves. And that's what it is. This CD contains 11 tracks. The musicians in Junkyard Dogs all have a lot of live and studio experience. Singer Ron Gershwin and drummer Peter van der Sluys used to be in the famous heavy metal band ALLIED FORCES. Bassist John Rreuser is also no stranger, because in addition to his own bands, in which he played, he sometimes stood in for Allied Forces. The bass/drum section is a well-oiled machine and that can be heard on 'Snakehat'.

The slogan 'Where there ain't no guitars there ain't no blues' applies to Pieter J. Jochems. Pieter played with greats like Steve Lukather, John Entwhistle, Scott Henderson and Jennifer Batten. The band has a professional appearance and they hold their own live. With the incredible voice of Ron Gershwin and the great guitar playing of Pieter J., Junkyard Dogs is destined to become a leading band in the Dutch blues scene. Junkyard Dogs play their own work and covers of blues heroes like Willie Dixin, Leroy Carr and Jimi Hendrix, to name a few.
