Danny & The Electro Strings ‎– The Story Of Danny & The Electro Strings CD
€7.50

Danny & The Electro Strings from Den Bosch - Holland was founded in 1961. In 1964 the group disbanded. In the summer of 1983 with partially renewed formation they reunited under the name Danny & the Electro and recorded an EP. This Best of / Story of CD contains the old recorded numbers, supplemented with songs recorded in the period 1984/1985, a total of 26 songs.

Driven by the crisp lead guitar work of Koos Raaymakers and the steady vocals of Danny Raaymakers, the musicianship is tight and evocative of the classic Indo-Rock and European instrumental boom. While the 1960s tracks carry a warm, vintage analog patina, the 1984/1985 recordings benefit from updated mid-range clarity without losing the group’s foundational retro charm.
