The 5th Dimension ‎– Love Garden (LP) / The Fifth Dimension

The 5th Dimension are masters at blending voices. The group includes Marilyn McCoo, Florence LaRue, Billy Davis Jr., Lamont McLemore, and Ron Townson. In Love Garden, they pass lead vocals back and forth like a game of catch. The rest of the group sings beautiful "background" layers. These layers make the songs feel very big and full. 

This LP feels like sitting in a sunny garden. The words usually talk about love and good times. The band uses real instruments (like real strings and horns). This gives the album a warm, natural sound. You will not hear digital or computer-made beats here.

"Summer’s Daughter": This song is a fan favorite. It is very dreamy and tells a story with slow, pretty singing.
