There's Always More That I Could Say, the third studio album from Norwegian singer Sigrid, is another reliable, catchy set of earnest, powerful pop/rock anthems. Her huge choruses and feel-good energy remain, even though there's some bittersweet breakup content bubbling within (the title track and "Eternal Sunshine" are the big heartbreakers). With the combination of a backing band and the synth-heavy pop production, Sigrid's sound remains grounded, real, and relatable, as heard on standouts like "I'll Always Be Your Girl," "Do It Again," and "Kiss the Sky." Aggression bleeds through on the wounded "Fort Knox" while the pulsing "Hush Baby, Hurry Slowly" adds a sensual, playful energy to the mix. Though not as mainstream-immediate as her wide-eyed debut or as expansive as the sophomore follow-up, There's Always More That I Could Say pushes Sigrid into more emotionally mature territory without losing her keen ear for addictive pop.
