Raoul Röring ‎– Shivoo (LP)

Although the record was released in a very limited run in 1983 and went completely unnoticed at the time, decades later it has achieved a dedicated cult status among collectors of obscure European wave and minimal synth music. Tracks such as "In Between" have been rediscovered in recent years and even played on alternative platforms like the UK's NTS Radio.

Shivoo is an intriguing document of its time. It may lack the polished production of the major releases from that era, but it more than makes up for this with an elusive, lo-fi artistic charm and a strong lineup of musicians.
