Bitch Falcon – Bitch Falcon (12")
Oh back in the year of twenty thousand and eighteen, a band called Bitch Falcon gathered all their released material to date and stuck it on an ol' 12" piece of wax and called it music. Fast forward to Neo-Normal times in 2020 and the band, after having cancelled scores of performances since September 2019, had to make the difficult decision to abandon their beloved rehearsal studio because as we all know, there always isn't money in the music stand...
While wailing and screaming through the packing up and moving of their unnecessarily large backline (there's only 3 of them ffs), they discovered a small, brown box. Immediately, they knew these were 25 of the original pressing of their only, physical music that lay forgotten amongst their broken equipment and shattered dreams, for nearly 2 years.
These most precious of musical wax were among a batch held back from the original 300 pressed in Dublin by Dublin Vinyl Company in 2018 as a precautionary measure in case any got missing or damaged in the post. They were one of the first vinyl records to pressed in Dublin in over 3 millennia. They sold out the same year they were pressed and some have traded on Discogs for as much as 5 bitcoin since then.
