I-Reject – When Push Comes To Shove CD

With “When Push Comes To Shove,” the old-school Dutch band I-Reject delivers their third full-length album. They also have several demos and compilation tracks out. The band has been around since 1994. What's immediately apparent is their deep love for the Cro-Mags, which has clearly left its mark. Other influences include Warzone, Breakdown, and plenty of old-school rock in the style of the 80s. I-Reject do a pretty good job on this latest record. Even if you've heard it all before in one form or another, the songs somehow sound fresh. What you won't find here are any experiments, but they're not needed at all. What might have added even more power would have been a bit more variety in the individual tracks. The album's sound is sufficiently rich and suits this kind of music perfectly.
