This exceptionally talented young woman from Osijek won us over with her very first single, "Budi mi blizu," and continued her impressive run with the singles "Slobodna," "Život nije siv," and "Sanjaj me." Her humility and incredible vocal delivery have captivated a vast number of listeners as well as radio music editors across Croatia. The fantastic song "Život nije siv"—for which Mia wrote both the lyrics and music—propelled her to the top of charts nationwide and defined her 2016, a year that culminated in four nominations for the prestigious Porin music award.

"Život nije siv" won the Porin award for Best Music Video, and its lyrics are still hummed across the country today. Her debut album, *Život nije siv*, was released by Croatia Records on the first day of spring; within its first few weeks, it became the best-selling release in Croatia according to the official sales chart of the Croatian Discographers Association. Meanwhile, her current single "Bezimeni"—which Mia is presenting at this year's CMC Festival—has for weeks been the most-played song on Croatian radio.
