Cathy Dennis ‎– Into The Skyline (2 CD)

Cathy Dennis's 1992 sophomore album Into The Skyline blends 90s diva house and dance-pop. The limited 2-CD edition added rare extended mixes, club dubs, and acoustic versions to her slickly produced, radio-friendly tracks. It is a solid listen for fans of the early 90s dance era. 

The first half of the album is full of upbeat, energetic dance tracks. Songs like "You Lied To Me" and "Why"rely heavily on the heavy basslines and slick, club-friendly drum beats of superproducer Shep Pettibone. "Being With You" stands out as a beautiful, slow R&B ballad.
