This album arrived to my hands as a gift, and what a gift! I already knew the artist from his first album and was anxiously waiting for the always difficult second album.

This is old music, with no intentions to be other thing. We are not speaking about neo soul. We have here honest, traditional old school soul, something that was missing for a long time. And if this was already a plus, imagine in French. Songs like Hallelujan!!! and Attends-Moi attain another level by being in the language of Jacques Brel. In Simply Beutifull we are transported to the universe of Marvin Gaye and others, but always with honesty, honouring the masters.
