Whatever They Hype...is a compilation and anniversary album. The first record features a complete reissue of their legendary, self-titled debut album from 1978. This album is regarded in Dutch music history as an absolute punk classic. It contains raw, energetic anthems such as "I'm Sure We're Gonna Make It."

The second record offers a collection of remixed singles (remixed by Marc de Reus) and rarer material, supplemented by tracks that were new at the time.
