Los Guajes ‎– Somos Tremendos (LP) / Spanish Garage Rock

With their debut album, “Somos Tremendos” (Fonográfica Peñarrubia, 2008), comprised mainly of covers with a few original touches, Los Guajes began to make their mark on the underground scene. Their first full-length album already showcased some of their strengths: a taste for Spanish bands of the 60s, their own twisted lyrical production, a lack of embellishment, and Kike's theatrical vocals. It was recorded at Circo Perrotti studios, a mecca of analog sound in Europe, under the direction of Jorge Explosion and Mike Mariconda.
