Blackbird – Pink Shades (LP)

Dutch singer-songwriter Blackbird is releasing her second album, ‘Pink Shades’—an energetic retro-pop record with rock influences. It follows her acclaimed debut album, *Blackbird*. She recorded the new album in Amsterdam and Berlin, drawing inspiration from Sheryl Crow, the Sugababes, HAIM, and Fleetwood Mac. The artist says: "I created this album over the past three years, a time when—as often happens—I was able to view life through rose-colored glasses.

These songs are beautiful, intense memories of the past and sultry daydreams about the future. They celebrate friendship, glasses raised under a starry summer sky, resilience, solitude, mysterious lovers, personal freedom, and the unconditional love of one's chosen family." The album also features the radio singles "Down Down Down Down" and "Built And Broken."
